BARI IS RELOCATING!    Bari Ristorante e Enoteca will be celebrating it’s 19th anniversary this fall, but before then, we will be making some pretty significant changes. Rebecca and Jason Severs have signed a lease at a new location and construction of the new restaurant is already in the works. We are thrilled about the new space at 524 S. Cooper, that was once a yoga studio, and sits at the intersection of Cooper and Peabody. It’s just two blocks down the street, not even a mile away! It will have a larger dining room and an outdoor patio, something that Bari has never had before. We will also have our own parking lot! We know our regulars are going to love the outdoor space.   Saturday, May 15 will be our last day open at 22 S. Cooper.  We will take just a few weeks to move equipment/furniture.  We do not have a specific opening date yet, but we will let you know as soon as we do!    The only thing sad about this move is the fact that we can’t take Dodici with us. That space was so special, not just for us but for many of you as well. We are so thankful that Memphis embraced Dodici with open arms. We do want you to know that Morgan and Samantha will both continue to work at the new location along with Hunter, making the same level of creative cocktails as before.    We are extremely excited about this new space and we hope that you are too!

Bari Ristorante

e Enoteca

Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar

Bari Ristorante e Enoteca is the city’s only Southeastern Italian restaurant and wine bar. Creating the regional cuisine of his family, Chef Jason Severs’ renditions of antipasto, salads, meats and seafood, over 50 Italian cheeses, plus homemade pasta, bread, and desserts, give diners a true taste of this Italian Region. Whether you order a multi-course meal like they do in Italy, or only one or two dishes, you will love the simplicity and freshness of Bari’s food and excellent Italian wines. The Enoteca is open an hour before and after the dining room, offering and extensive all-Italian wine list.

The Great Story Of Our Culinary Journey

Nearly eighteen years ago, my husband Jason Severs and I decided to open a restaurant in Memphis at the same time we decided to get married. After three years of planning and looking for the perfect location our dream was finally realized. My husband’s family is from Capurso, Italy. It is a small town outside of Bari, Italy, which is the capital of Puglia. We decided we wanted to preserve his family’s culture and shed some light on this particular region in Italy, even though we knew that we would be misunderstood by some but loved by many. We are very fortunate to be able to do what we love for a living.
